Announcements
PUBLIC NOTICE: The Hagerstown/Eastern Panhandle Metropolitan Planning Organization (HEPMPO), in partnership with the Eastern Panhandle Transit Authority (EPTA), hereby notifies all interested persons of potential service changes for consideration into the Draft Transit Development Plan will be presented for public review and comment.
EPTA is currently undergoing a Transit Development Plan update effort to better utilize existing transit resources and determine ways to expand public transit coverage within and beyond its existing service area in Berkeley and Jefferson Counties, WV over the next five years.
Two public meetings on the proposed service changes will be held in the area from 5:00-6:30pm: (1) April 2 – Charles Town Library in County Commission Meeting Room and (2) April 3 – Martinsburg Police Department in George Karos Community Room. Both meeting have a virtual option to join. A formal presentation will be posted online and given at the public meetings.
The public comment period will begin on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 and end on Friday, May 2, 2025. Written comments may be mailed to the EPTA’s office (446 Novak Drive, Martinsburg, WV 25405), sent via email to info@eptawv.com or online at www.hepmpo.net/contact.
