PUBLIC NOTICE: The Hagerstown/Eastern Panhandle Metropolitan Planning Organization (HEPMPO) hereby notifies all interested persons that three DRAFT Corridor Safety Studies are available for comment and review. The three corridors are WV9-Edwin Miller Boulevard in Martinsburg, WV51-Washington Street in Charles Town and US11-Virginia Avenue in Hagerstown. The DRAFT Studies summarizes existing conditions, proposed safety countermeasures, and potential funding strategies for each corridor.
The public comment period will be from May 23 to June 23, 2025. Those persons wishing to review the draft studies will find copies of each display at the Washington County Free Library-Hagerstown, the Martinsburg Public Library and Charles Town Library, download a copy at www.hepmpo.net, or may request a copy by contacting the HEPMPO office, located at 226 Pilot Way, Suite E, Martinsburg, WV 25405. Business hours are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

A formal presentation will be posted online and given at the public meetings.
